Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: email address, name, and a hashed password.
• Profile data: target job titles, location, experience, and industries you enter.
• Resumes: the files you upload, stored securely in our database.
• Generated content: AI analyses, training plans, and cover letters created at your request.
• Usage data: daily counts of AI requests (for fair-use limits and cost control) and clicks on training links (which provider and skill you clicked).

How we use it

Your data is used solely to provide the service: analyzing your resumes, personalizing recommendations, and operating your account. When you run an AI feature, the relevant content (your resume, profile details, and any job description you paste) is sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate the result. We do not sell your personal data.

Affiliate links

Training recommendations link to third-party course providers. Some links carry affiliate tags, meaning we may earn a commission on purchases. We log which recommendation links you click (provider, skill, time) to understand which recommendations are useful. Third-party sites have their own privacy policies.

Retention & deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can download everything we store about you, and permanently delete your account and all associated data, from your account page at any time. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed (bcrypt). Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with our database provider. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.

Email

We send transactional email only: account verification and password resets. No marketing email.
